ANGELICA BERNABE

Hello! I am Angelica, a master’s degree student at Michigan State University and Research Assistant in the Spartan Stuttering Lab (PI: Dr. Scott Yaruss). I am dedicated to working with people who stutter and training professionals, having presented for clinicians from 25 countries. I won the International Fluency Association Clinician Award 2022 (Canada) for my work helping people who stutter in South America. Also, I am part of the stuttering organizations Stamily (The Netherlands) and 50 Million Voices (England). I speak Spanish, English, and Portuguese, and I am learning Dutch!
CYNTHIA DACILLO

Hi everyone! I am Cynthia, a speech therapist from Peru with a master’s degree in Neuroeducation. I studied for my second master’s in Psychology in the UK researching the experiences of women who stutter. I am a therapist who is very passionate about stuttering. I am a member of STAMMA (UK), Stamily (The Netherlands), and a board member of the World Stuttering Network where I co-host the podcast “Historias de Tartamudez” (Stuttering Stories). I love spreading awareness by running with a stuttering pride flag. I speak Spanish, English and Portuguese.
