Michael Sugarman has been an activist in the stuttering and disability communities since the 1970s. He was the co-founder and former executive director of the National Stuttering Project and past president of the International Stuttering Association. Michael writes for academic journals and co-facilitates support groups, emphasizing mindful communication, self-care skills, and resilience. On this occasion, he spoke with our director (Angélica Bernabé) about mindfulness applied to the treatment of stuttering.
